Performing Arts Pre School

FAQ

What is a Performing Arts Pre school?
Gymnastics, Aerial and Performance. We do not claim to be a regular traditional pre school setting. We are different, we are unique and we are special. Some children will love our learning process and other children will prefer a more traditional pre school setting. Each child is different and requires a different learning experience.

Are you Ofsted registered?
No. Our setting comes under exemption 11. Which means that we can provide child care led by qualified coaches for up to 4 hours per day for 3-4yr olds.

What does your free funding mean?
Our company has its own private education funding pot that invests into the education of pre schoolers. This means we are able to provide 3 hours per day of free hours. The government funding of 15hrs cannot be accepted by our centre and therefore can only be used at Ofsted registered settings. This does mean however that alongside your 15hrs government funding, you can get an additional 9 free hours with us per week.

What is the professional fee?
This is a compulsory fee that covers daily fruit snack, insurance and our instructor fees and school resources.

Can we attend another pre school setting too?
Yes absolutely.

How many mornings can we book into each week?
You can chose one, two or three mornings per week. We have no minimum requirement.

How will performing arts prepare my child for starting school?
We provide a well rounded program that follows the early learning guidelines set out by Ofsted (despite not being registered with them). We teach fine and gross motor skills in three dimensional learning processes, using performing arts and arts and crafts to provide a unique take on learning.
